Frequently asked questions
What counts as a task run?
A task run is a single execution of one step in a workflow. A 5-step workflow that runs once consumes 5 task runs. Polling triggers consume 1 run per check; webhook triggers are free.
What counts as an AI step?
Any step that calls a hosted LLM (GPT-4, Claude, Llama, Mistral) — for classification, scoring, summarization, generation, or agent reasoning. Each model invocation is one AI step regardless of token count.
What happens when I exceed my plan limits?
No hard blocks. Workflows continue to run at per-unit overage rates, billed at the end of the month. Overages are capped at the price of the next tier up — you will never pay more than an upgrade.
Can I bring my own AI provider keys?
Yes. On Team and Business, you can plug in your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure OpenAI keys. AI steps using your own keys do not count against your plan quota — you only pay your provider directly.
Do unused runs roll over?
No. Unused task runs and AI steps do not carry to the next billing period. Each month resets fresh.
What is annual pricing?
Annual billing saves you 2 months (pay for 10, get 12). Monthly billing is the default — we never require annual commitment upfront.
